How do I rename tapes within HP Colorado Backup II software, v.8?

Under "Tools/Media", I don't have "rename" as referred to in the Help file. So, how do I change the title of a tape? Thanks . . .

Is this a QIC (Quarter Inch Cartridge) tape? If not, "rename" will not be an option on the menu mentioned. The rename is used only in conjunction with the QIC media.

Yes, I realize. But in my Tape Drive help file, there is a reference to the this "rename" feature and it's frustrating for one to finally realize they don't have this option. Anybody out there know of an alternate solution?

With the risk of stating the obvious:
one (lengthy) way would be to restore the tape to disk, re-initialise the tape and re-backup....
Re-initialising (the name says all) by itself erases the tape while giving it a name.
A job well begun is a job half done. I don't like jobs half done.
