Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

Marino & Torsten,

Tried as provided doc and snap, but no result. The 9th port is NEO MGT Port, when I connect the WAN cable to it, there is no activity LED on the port. I think its a management port, but dont know how to connect to it.

@ Marino,

In master slave, I didn't get any GUI neither master nor slave. But in Standalone I am getting the access, when connect directly to management board.

Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

That is the new model of router, the one Torsen sent you the cabling.

The last at the botom is the one going to the WAN
all the other are for internal communication
and if you attach your laptop on one of these upper ethernet port, you will probably get an ip from the internal DCHP.
then you can try to ping each of the library

The WAN port should get the LAN setting you give from the OCP of the master unit

Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

The port "NEO MGT" is the correct port, make sure your library has 520 firmware code and the network switch can serve with 10/100 speed, not at fixed 1Gbs.

You need to connect the library management ports to this network router.

Hope this helps!

Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

I tried it by connecting my laptop to other ports, but result is same, didnt get any response.

And when I connect my LAN switch cable to NEO MGT Port there is no activity on the port, when connect my notebook on that port but still no activity/connection.

Firmware version is 5.20

Network switch is dynamic can support 10/100 and 1G.

First I thought that router is faulty, but when I make the libraries standalone, I can connect to them through router.

Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

Do you have a cable between each library and the router? installed in the master module?

Hope this helps!

Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

Absolutely .... YES :)

Cables from both libraries are there.

There is obviously a connection problem between primary and secondary.

If you cabled everything correctly with good cables, the router could be bad.

Hope this helps!

Re: MSL6060 Library - Strange Behaviour

Master-Slave issue has alrady resolved, now master is showing the slave, and can perform operations on slace through master OCP.

But the issue currently I am facing that I am not getting the Web Based GUI of Libraries.

Router is looking fine to me.

One more thing even when I connect my notebook directly to master's controller board, I am still not getting any ping response from the master (in standalone mode, it gives response).

As I am thinking, that I am missing something in configuration.

Also tried it by loading default settings, but result is same.

Hope so this time, I will get any solution/suggestion regarding the issue :(
