TP: Mgmt Port Under Attack
What does this SMS alert mean?
System Log Notification (critical): Management port is under attack: 99.0% bad packets (173981 out of 175216) dropped in the last 60 seconds.
When have you seen this occur on your devices?

Re: TP: Mgmt Port Under Attack
I have the same messages in SMS under system log under the IP1400N.
Management port is under attack: 88.0% bad packets (12427 out of 13963) dropped in the last 60 seconds
followed
Management port is no longer under attack: 59.0% bad packets (356 out of 595) dropped in the last 60 seconds
What is the meaning of them?

Re: TP: Mgmt Port Under Attack
Hi There
Has there ever been an update or resolution to this issue, as i too am continually and intermittently receiving these alerts. They seem to be specific to the 1400N appliances.
We manage the appliances via a virtual SMS appliance, dont remember getting these alerts when we had a physical SMS server, not sure if this has any consequence.
Anybody?

Re: TP: Mgmt Port Under Attack
Most likely its due to something running vunerability scans on the management port of the device. Such as Qualys.
