Re: how to reset to factory defaults x505
The CLI can be used to configure your X505 out of the box as well as routine system configuration tasks.
Most system configuration changes are made by prefixing each command with "configure terminal" or "config t"
And "show" command to see system/configuration information
And use "?" to show which commands ara available
Whe you use the comman to make the factory reset it appears a warning then you have to write COMMIT and it's done

Re: how to reset to factory defaults x505
To reset the device back to the factory default settings it will also install the TOS that originally came with the device. The command to issue has to be done on the CLI and it is:
# debug factory-reset
Press enter after typing in that command. You will then be asked to type in the words COMMIT - case sensitive to confirm.
