Accelerate beyond "legacy" IT with HP's comprehensive command of Cloud

TS_Guest on ‎01-10-2014 04:12 PM

To hear Cloud Absolutists like Amazon Web Services tell it, you might be tempted to think that the rise of public cloud is turning everyone and everything into a “legacy” (though even AWS seems to be backing away from some of its wilder claims about the future of the data center, as ITWorld blogger Nancy Gohring notes in her blog Amazon Web Services grudgingly accepts hybrid cloud ).

HP’s view is broader and more nuanced. Every company’s situation is different, and a thoughtful approach to cloud transformation will take account of what’s already in place as well as the desired end-point. What’s more, companies are increasingly recognizing Cloud’s touch-points with a wide range of IT imperatives such as big data, mobility, and application transformation.

HP’s command of Cloud ranges across all of these dimensions and more. For a view of the full scope of our cloud advisory services, check out the video below with Johan Deschuyffeleer, SVP and General Manager of HP Technology Services Consulting. In this interview with John Furrier, founder of SiliconANGLE, and Dave Vellarte, Chief Analyst at Wikibon, Johan explains:

  • How HP’s extensive service catalog help you speed up your transformation, wherever you are in the Cloud journey
  • Why hybrid cloud is the way to go for most organizations
  • How HP Technology Services can help your organization reach its goals faster. Learn how HP needed just 72 days to help Dubai’s educational authority deliver a tablet-based, analytics-enabled solution that transformed that nation’s education system.
