Personal Speed Dial
Is it possible to configure more than 9 personal speed dials on VCX 9.0.17 per user? We have NBX systems that allow up to 99 per user by using *601 - 699. Entering anything above *609 on the VCX results in unknown feature code.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Personal Speed Dial
Personal...no. From the manual:
You can enter up to nine personal speed dial entries for each user extension. Each speed dial entry is associated with an index number, 1 through 9 inclusive. To use a personal speed dial number, the user enters Feature code 601 plus the appropriate index number. While you (and users) can also map speed dial numbers to Access buttons on a telephone, the Feature code 601 plus index number method allow speed dialing on phones that do not have Access buttons.

Re: Personal Speed Dial
I read the manual, however you never know if a patch has been written unless you ask...
9 numbers is extremely limited, especially considering the amount of contacts that people have these days.
Can anyone confirm if this is the case with version 9.5? We are currently running 9.0.17.

Re: Personal Speed Dial
The best way i found to remedy the issue is to create extension ranges and make them speed dials. for instance a user had 100 speed dials, we gave him 6101-6199 and setup the call coverage for those extensions to go to whatever number he wanted.
