Setting up Snom 370 and 870 phones with VCX 9.8

Does anyone have experience configuring the multiple options available on the Snom 370/870 phones when connected to a VCX? We are running version 9.8 and I have been able to get some things running. Looking to get BLF keys programmed, Hook into the VCX Directory, access the System Speed Dials on the VCX, and get the Voicemail MWI to work.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Jon

Did you get anywhere with this Jon?

Although SIP is a standard, the data contained within the SIP messages often isn't. To get much of what you list to work, Snom would have to specifically add support for VCX.

You can perform many VCX features by knowing the feature codes and dialling *FEATURECODE(*OPTION)#, but some functions which send data back to the handset in XML/text format (such as directory or NOTIFY responses based on BLF subscriptions) would require the Snom to be more VCX savvy.

I gave up on Snom's a while ago (for this very reason and, more recently, because their OCS edition handsets use their own code rather than MS Lync Phone Edition - hence losing lots of features).
