GNU Linux installation on HPVM Guest

Hi guys!

Is something missing here?

While booting from DVD using IA64Debian .iso image I got error,

"No common CD-ROM drive was detected
..
"

Load CD-ROM drivers from removable media?

After I go over I got,

"There was a problem reading data from the removable media. Please make sure that the right media is present. If you continue to have
trouble, your removable media might be bad.
Cannot read removable media, or no drivers found. ├в
"

then it goes to '[?] Debian installer main menu' so basically I go over 'Abort the installation '

Some other informaiton on the txt file attached.

Re: GNU Linux installation on HPVM Guest

Well Debian is not supported as a Guest OS for Integrity Virtual Machines:
http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02545643/c02545643.pdf
Page 16
We only support RedHat and Suse Linux
My house is the bank's, my money the wife's, But my opinions belong to me, not HP!

Re: GNU Linux installation on HPVM Guest

I was afraid to read that, though finding some CD-ROM drivers somewhere for make it bootable. How is possible HP left Debian out of the box?!, anyway..thanks a lot for the help!
