Re: Oracle Performance Issues in HPVM 3.5
Hi,
I know this post is quite old....
It seems that we never had a reply about whether there was any improvement on Oracle performance on this post.
I'm planning to move out Prod oracle database server to HPVM, currently running on physical HP itanium but decided to go virtual with HPVM. But we are sort of going in a bit of unknown world because there has been different opinion about virtualising Oracle server.
We have over 12 databases currently running on one HPUX server (physical) which will be on HPVM soon.
I would like to hear from anyone out there who have Prod oracle server running in HPVM and not having any performance issues especially I/O
Thanks
Brian
