Re: Reserved Memory in Integrity VM

As i understand it:

Total Memory=All memory available system wide at startup moment

Reserved Memory=Memory that has been reserved by the OS and/or an application for exclusive use.

Re: Reserved Memory in Integrity VM

From 'swapinfo' manpage:

reserve Paging space on reserve. This is
the amount of paging space that
could be needed by processes

Re: Reserved Memory in Integrity VM

Total Memory means it is the memory availble from the system startup
and reserve memomory means
Paging space on reserve. This is the amount of paging space that could be needed by processes that are currently running.
3.available memory means the memory available after the kernel has been loaded

swapinfo -tam
