We are running a licensed version of Integrity VM 4.0 and would like to update to 4.1. I found in the software depot the following files :
VMProvider_B.04.10_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot
VMKernelSW_B.04.10_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot
VMGuestSW_B.04.10.02_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot
VMGuestLib_B.04.10_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot
T2801AA_B.04.10.02_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot
Can I apply these without breaking my license ? I'm asking because I found a lot of references to T2801AA stating that it is the trial version.
In addition to that how can I now the status of my license ?
Thank you
Patrick

SolutionWell where did you get the depot from?
If its the one on software.hp.com, weel thats the trial version - you *do not* want to install that version.
You'll need to either get the new software from Software Update Manager (see navigation bar on the left of all ITRC web pages), or if you have the VSE-OE or DC-OE bundles of HP-UX, you should find the software on the OS DVDs.
Remember you have to upgrade the OS on the VM host to at least the March 2009 (0903) release of HP-UX11iv3 to install 4.1

Thanks I'll take care of all these elements before I continue.
