Virtual machines do not support VIO storage. - error message
my VM server had an update ux ran on it, and its now, 11iv3 from 03/14 with VM manager 4.0, but now when i try and start two of my VM's that worked before i get this message.
"Virtual machines do not support VIO storage."
any help would be appreciated. i have no experience with HP vm's they were thrown in my lap and said to fix them.

What version of the HP-VM software is running on your server?
If it's B.06.10 or later then VIO is no longer supported. You must transition to AVIO storage.

here is what i show when i grep for VM

VMMGR A.04.00.00.70 HP Integrity VM Manager
can i migrate systems or do i have to rebuild them.??

You should be able to migrate. This appears to be a decent white paper on the subject:
