SolutionIf the HBA is already part of the vPar, the system can access the disk.

vPars or HPVM?
A nPar is just like a physical server - no difference at all.
If you connect a SCSI disk, you can access it.
Now you may have an internal hardware RAID, so you probably need to create a logical drive.
You really need to tell more details about your configuration (server model, disks, etc ...).
If you assign a LUN, you need to present it from an external array and zone it.
No "special" action on the server needed.
