vparboot : Unable to start vpar or VM
Hello Experts
We have BL 870C and 2 Vpars configured already up and running.
After creating 3rd vpar and try to boot with vpatrboot command ,we received the below error message.
But the same can boot with hpvmstart command and we get the shell prompt.
Error Message below
vparboot : addagent failed vm register failed for pid 12332
vparboot : allocation of resources failed
vparboot: /opt/hpvm/lbin/hpvmapp (/var/opt/hpvm/uuids/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/vmm_config.current) unable to allocate vpar or vm resources
vparboot: unable to start vpar or vm :::VM NAME":
vparboot : unable to continue.
We have enougn resources there for boot
Any ideas or recomendations highly appreciated,,

Re: vparboot : Unable to start vpar or VM
Are these the exact messages? (minus the private info, indeed)
Anything in syslog?
When you say that hpvmstart works, you mean that when you convert the vpar to a VM it boots? Or just using hpvmstart to start vpar works? Are you sure to have enough resources?
