Mirrored disc suspended?

On a mpe/ix 7.0 system, I arrived to a 'Acknowledge mirror disc disbled' message this morning. After issuing the replacemirrvol command, everything is back to normal. CSTM is showing cds is diabled. How would I check hardware logs if cds is diabled?

Re: Mirrored disc suspended?

Hello Chuck,

Within cstm, if you do not select a device prior to run the cds (Current Device Status) command, it returned bogus error:

-- (CurrDevStatus) is currently disabled. --

Select a device # returned by the cstm>map command, then run the cds command should work.

Re: Mirrored disc suspended?

Emile,

Thank you for the quick response. We were able to extract current data. Now going after other info... Not to happy to have a mirrored disc disabled on a Friday morning.
