V_Switch LAN adaptor does not have a valid IP configuration - Windows 2008 Hypervisor
I have a problem with my V_Switch LAN adaptor on my second host (Windows 2008 Hypervisor). There is no communication between the VM and the LAN.
When I use the Windows Network diagnostic to check the V_Switch LAN adaptor it reported that the problem was that the "V_Switch LAN adaptor does not have a valid IP configuration" and the proposed solutions were 1: To reset the adaptor 2: Switch off the server for some time. I tried these two solutions but none worked.
I checked on internet for other solutions. I found another solution that is to uninstall the adaptor and then reinstall it but this one did not also work. I am still troubleshooting.
I have not tried to reinstall the Win 2008 r2 because I want to try first other possible solutions. Any ideas ? Has anyone ever encountered this problem before. Please assist
