I am usng Capacity Advisor to profile workloads from a PA-RISC system to an IA64 system. I have imported workloads from OVPA extracted files, but want to profile a specific Application configured inside OVPA and multiply it by a factor of 7.
Is there the ability to do this in CapAd? Share and Enjoy! Ian

After importing the workload from OVPA you can include it in a scenario. From the Workload tab of the Edit Scenario screen you can select the workload and choose the "What-if->Edit Workload" pick. This will bring up a dialog where you can enter several workload multipliers.
If you want to plan for a workload that is 7 times as busy, you can enter a CPU multiplier of 7. The I/O multipliers should also be 7. The memory mutiplier probably should not be set to 7, but it may be reasonable to set it to 1.5. It will depend on your application.
