Creating my own kernel template file on HP-UX 11.00

Hi!

I wanna apply the same kernel parameters on serveral servers.
Can I make my own template file on the "template" server, then copy it to another server, and then use the option "Load a Template File ..." in sam (menu "Kernel Configuration") ? How?

Hi:

Try this:

Go go SAM's Kernel Configuration -> Configurable Parameters and from the Actions tab, choose Templates -> Load a Template File.

As the inbuilt help notes, "A template is a kernel file (/stand/vmunix) or a kernel description file (/stand/system or other equivalent file), commonly copied from a remote system or a master, already configured, system."
