HI all
My environment consists of rp7420, rp4440, rp3440, rp7440, rx6600, rx8640 servers. Can anyone tell me the optimum % of resource utilization like CPU, memory or Disk.

Re: Optimum Resource utilization
I don't think it's possible to answer that question because the answer could be completely different for everybody. If you goal is to have plenty of capacity to accomodate whatever load my be thrown at the server, then 0% cpu/memory/disk would be ideal. If you're trying to get your money's worth, then 100% would be perfect.
It depends.

Solution
Hi:
"Optimum" is whatever satisfies the business objective of the server while leaving adequate horsepower for the growth projected over the intended lifetime of the server.
An underutilized server may be deemed non-optimal use too, since your organization may have over-commited monies to it.
Regards!
