snmp monitoring qlogic disks

Hi, all.
Does anybody knows how can I monitor disk subsystem using SNMP (hp-ux bundled or other). Disk was created by using Qlogic 24xx scsi FC adaptors and EVA datastore.

in intro was said
The SNMP - QA Monitor can be configured in various ways to monitor
-The numerical disk or partition percentage value
-The amount of available disk space in kilobytes.

I need to view disk_read\write speed.
mrtg do not approach too.

"Disk was created by using Qlogic 24xx scsi FC adaptors and EVA datastore. "

So is it an EVA?

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

to Torsten:
probably there are tools for monitoring on an EVA, but i need\want to monitor exactly on server (by snmp) or maybe on FC_HBA though.

Re: snmp monitoring qlogic disks

This is basically the way it works for all eva (4400 may be different):

commandview eva software is communicating via FC with the array; the software is reporting problems to the windows events;
additional software (WEBES) is searching these logs and create SNMP events and whatever. At this point you can use these SNMP traps also for other apps.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
