Customizing the Dock
HP makes a great product, one minor annoyance. Is there a way to remove the "New Offers" and "HP Advisor" icon from the dock? I understand that companies like HP want to be a constant presence in the users experience, and that some marketing managers believe that placing the brand name in front of a person's face enough will increase sales. I also understand there there may be other practical reasons for having such advertising on the dock all the time. However, some users just want to use the system for work and not constantly have to deal with an "opportunity" to drink more of the HP Kool-Aid. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
A.
