You can manage your on-prem and public cloud workloads including HPE SimpliVity virtual machines, and view your HPE SimpliVity infrastructure across all your HPE SimpliVity federations – all using a simple, unified dashboard, running in a secure and integrated cloud platform.
Here’s a look at what’s available and how to get started
To ensure a smooth onboarding process, start with your user account on Data Service Cloud Console. Assign appropriate permissions to onboard HPE SimpliVity Systems. HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition systems require network connectivity to Data Services Cloud Console. Be sure to review Network Requirements/Firewall Rules in the Preinstallation section in Welcome Center.

Ensure compatibility with supported versions to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance:
- VMware vSphere versions: 6.7, 7.0 [U3 -U1] and later
- HPE SimpliVity versions: 4.1.3 and above

Global Dashboard for HPE SimpliVity
Private Cloud Business Edition delivers a centralized command center that offers real-time insights into your infrastructure. The Global Dashboard provides a quick overview of inventory and resource utilization, global visibility across different sites, prioritized resource allocation based on a utilization scatter plot, and enhanced security with VM protection summaries. This includes key components like the summary of on-premises and public cloud virtual machines, the number of HPE SimpliVity clusters and HPE Alletra dHCI systems registered, and the innovative heat map based on CPU and memory utilization amongst other tiles.
The Systems Locations tab cements the global management capability. It’s a single unified interfaces for infrastructure across the globe.

Provision templatized virtual machines seamlessly ensuring rapid deployment of new VMs to meet evolving business needs, all seamlessly integrated with HPE Backup and Recovery Service for enhanced data protection, including creating immutable backups to mitigate ransomware and backup VMs on HPE SimpliVity directly to cloud.
The OS templates used in the VM creation are the ones available in VMware vCenter Content Library.
Unifying on-premises and public cloud

Simply download the Data Services Connector VM onto vSphere environment and register.
