HPE Storage wins 5 CRN Product of the Year awards
Our customers and partners have spoken. The votes have been cast. The result? HPE Nimble Storage and HPE 3PAR StoreServ Storage won five 2018 CRN Product of the Year awards, including overall winner for midrange storage (Nimble) and technology winner for enterprise storage (3PAR).
Weโre humbled by this recognition as it speaks to our customer experience and leading technology. CRN evaluates every vendor across the industry and judges based on technology, revenue and profits, and customer demand over the year.
2018 was a rockin' good year for HPE primary storage
Come to think of it as I look back on 2018, this has been a pretty exciting year for our primary storage platforms. Here are just a few highlights:
In May, we announced the fifth generation HPE Nimble Storage. This brought our customers a future-proofed enterprise platform that delivers up to 220% better price-performance and the HPE Store More Guarantee, a promise that we provide the industryโs best effective capacity.
In July, we advanced intelligent storage capabilities in 3PAR with AI and cloud automation. This included further integration of HPE InfoSight, the industryโs most experienced AI, to predict and prevent problems across the installed base and automate support resolution. It also included native container integration with Kubernetes, Docker, Mesosphere, and Redshift.
And at HPE Discover Madrid, we announced HPE Memory-Driven Flash, a new class of enterprise storage for HPE 3PAR and Nimble Storage beyond all-flash that delivers the speed of memory for real-time analytics and AI workloads. With availability now, this makes 3PAR the industryโs first enterprise storage platform turbocharged with storage class memory and NVMe00โwith up to 2x faster response times over competing NVMe AFAs.
Itโs been a fun year. And itโs because of our customers and partners that we had this fun. We want to thank you for this honor and recognition and ring in the new year together. Letโs do it again in 2019!
