I have two storage pools, both named as the out of the box default-arrayname. I'd like to rename them and have found the setting in the GUI. My question is does renaming the pool cause any disruption or is it safe to do during production?

SolutionSounds like you've merged systems into a single pool - and the 'default' pools from their individual groups have been renamed to 'default-oldgroupname' to show where they came from. However, you must always have one pool in your group called 'default'.
You are free to rename them to something else should you wish, and there is no disruption... However be ware that replication may have to be paused or changed if you're specifically replicating into one of those pools.
