DV5-1135ee -wireless problem !!! plz help

i have DV5-1135ee , and my wireless device is Intel 5100 AGN , i can see it in the device manager !!! but the light is still orange even if i touched it & see its settings disabled in the HP wireless assistant both of them ( wireless + bluetooth) and cant send anything via bluetooth it says no devices found . i saw the the light of wireless manytimes blue when i bought the lap. but i didnt care coz i dont need it .. but i didnt use my lap with wireless till now, & havent connection on my area ... should i have a wireless connection to turn the light blue or it should be working when i touched the the wireless signal ?? many thanks
