Wireless module and Internet Explorer
Hi,
I am using the J9001A wireless module with the latest firmware. I have an issue with Internet Explorer clients accessing the wireless network. It can take up to 5 minutes on occasion to load the redirected web authentication page. However, when using Firefox, access to the wireless network takes just seconds. Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Wireless module and Internet Explorer
Hi Tony,
The problem you describe I've also.
I tested with Windows XP SP3, Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3.
What I discovered is that for some reason you do not get a HTTP 307 (Temporary Redirect) when visting a secure website (HTTPS)either with IE or Firefox.
When visting normal website (HTTP) with IE7 I have to wait about 20 seconds before I get the login page.
As soon as Firefox has started I get the login page.
Good luck,
Michael

Re: Wireless module and Internet Explorer
Forgot to mention.
The problem also existed with IE6 and Service Pack 2.
