5900 irf on Qsfp ports on single mode fiber

 

Can we use an QSFP+ to SFP+ adapter kit 665874-B21 + JD094B (X130 10G SFP+ LR) (on 40Gb  splitted port ) to establish an irf link over 300 meters to another member with the same configuration.

I'd be concerned about the LR SFP+... it might overdrive the optics on the QSFP+ transceiver.  I'd advise caution.  LR's should be used at both ends.
