Upgrading of 3com 4210-52 switch to 3com OS 3.10

Hi,

our company using at one location 3com 4210 52 port switches (3CR17334-91).

Some of them using 3.10 version of firmware and some running on 3.01.12. I found that for using IP source guard and dynamic arp inpection I need to run version 3.10 .

I found the that according to this article it is possible to upgrade our switches to all running 3.10 firmware.

Problem is with dowloading package to upgrade. Only download page I manage to find is this and the are only 3.01 firmware.

Can you help me where to find upgrade package for 3.10 firmware?

One other question. In 3.10 FW release notes I found that for upgrade I need to first upgrade bootrom and after restart upgrade switch FW from bootrom using serial console. Switches are at quite remote location and I don't have direct physical access to them. Is it possible to safely upgrade switch remotely by CLI?

I found release notes too. I linking it in last paragraph of my post.

At H3C can't download anything to try look for info in package. It request login and I don't see any registration button. Assume that you get login information when purchase H3C device.

3Com 4120-52 is the same as HP 3100-52 (v1 not v2). You can fint the 3.1 here:

I never upgradet Bootrom first and then the SW. I allways upgrade bootrom, set new firmware and reboot the switch. I never run into problems.

I finaly find solution myself. 3.10 FW series for 3CR17334-91 can be found here:

FW from manuel.bitzi may work but our switch is not listed in release notes (in package I posted is) and I already sucessfuly tried FW from my link on switch in office.

manuel.bitzi: I thougth it, but want to confirm. Don't know why release notes says first bootrom and then FW image.
