Monitor HP 6404 SCSI Controller in Non-HP Computer
A while back I installed our HP SmartArray 6404 (4 CH 320U SCSI, PCI-X) into a non-HP server we had and hooked up some MSA20's and 30's to it. Everything has been working fine and I manage it with the HP ACU (Array Configuration Utility). The problem is that I don't have anyway to get notified if a HDD fails. Is there a utlity or program I can install to do this? I tried the HP Management Website software but since it's not an HP server it doesn't see anything. Thanks!
