Move VV from FC to NL CPG

I have 2 VV's on the FC tier and would like to move one of them from FC to NL as the FC disks are fully utilized.

The systems is out of support. Please advise.

Hello  @danh_24,

In SSMC select the volume, go to actions -> tuneVV -> change the user CPG to the NL cpg and save.
Or
Select the volume -> Actions -> Edit -> change the user_CPG to NL cpg and save.

GUI options differ based on the SSMC version you are using. However changing the user cpg will work for you.

Re: Move VV from FC to NL CPG

Hello @danh_24,

That is a bit tricky situation.
You can change the copy cpg of the volume to the NL cpg. Then clone the volume and detach it from the source volume. Export the new volume to the host and ensure everything is fine. Later you can delete the parent volume.
