Hi,
Today first time I am going to Install 02 nos New N Class servers. After the Installation how I can verify each hardware is configured properly and see the performance. Also I want to see the bottel Neck performance.

Solution
Hi,
The best way to check the hardware configuration after installation is run an 'ioscan -fn' and save it to a file. View the file and look for anything that says 'UNCLAIMED' If you find any of these, you need to install the appropriate drivers into the kernel. If you a FC A5158A card(s) installed you need to install the software driver for it from your Application CD. There is not much point checking the system for any performance related issues until you have installed your application software, RDBMS.
I've attached a link to a valuable
post that was made a while ago, which gives
some valuable instructions on what to do
post install.

Additionally with Michael's post, I'd add that you can use glance to "watch" the system. What kind of bottlenecks are you expecting on your n-class machines?
