lan console on rp7400

has anyone setup the lan console on a rp7400. if so can you send me some whitepapers or instructions.

Get into GSP (CTRL-B) and enter "lc".
GSP> lc
You'll be prompted to enter its hostname, ip, subent mask, etc. After it's saved, enter "el" to enable it. It's that simple.

Here's a usage doc for you:


Telnet to the mp console port of the server you wish to connect to:

Login with the userid of Admin

MP login: Admin
MP password: (default is Admin - CHANGE IT!!)

CO: Consoles

Enter co to go to the console(s) of the server. On a hardware partitioned box, there will be 2 partitions - 0 and 1.
Enter x to close your connection.

This box only has 1 partition, press 0 to select it.

^b to exite the console (NOTE: this does NOT terminate your session if you logged in as root!!! Make sure you exit before you ^b - if you do by accident, you can always get back in).

You may get prompted with:

[Read-only - use ^Ecf to attach to console.]


Press ^e c f to take over the console:

[Bumped user - Admin.]

Press enter.

Console Login:

Now you can login.
