N4000 CPU upgrade
Hi All,
I have two N4000 server ,one is quite old with cpu speed 440 Mhz and another one is very new with cpu speed 550 Mhz.
Now I want to swap all the CPUs of my old server with 550 MHz.
Is it possible ?
Thanks in advance
Animesh

Re: N4000 CPU upgrade
Hi Animesh,
I see no problem with actually doing it,
although I would first check the firmware
level of the system that has the existing
440MHz CPU's before swapping them to the
550MHz ones.
There could be something there that may
need to be changed.

Re: N4000 CPU upgrade
Animesh,
It depends on the revision of your system card. The 'old' systemcards were just capable to use 360MHz and 440MHz CPUs
The A3639A is limited to max. 440MHz

There is no good troubleshooting with bad data
