BUS faults

I am getting the following from the CLI of my msa 1500

"The speed is the currently negotiated speed to the disk. This may
be less than the maximum speed supported by the device due to bus
faults, loss of signal integrity, etc."

anyone know what this means ?

Re: BUS faults

This is just an information msg.

The MSA will first attempt to negotiate at the first highest speed. If it can't then it will try the next slowest level.

Were your negotiated speeds correct?
