Cache battery on EVA3000

Hi,

We have an EVA3000. One of the two cache amber LED is one. I have read some other threads talking about this and learned some tips. My question here is:

-Should I order one battery only instead of the failed one and replace it, or it is necessary to order two batteries so as to replace both batteries altogether?

Thanks

I would replace both with new ones.

Thanks for the response. Someone also told me the same thing. Could you please let me know the technical reason why this is recommended. Appreciate that.

Re: Cache battery on EVA3000

Sure, I guess those are the original batteries which have reached some age now. If you replace one now, it is quite possible that the second one fails within a few weeks, too. And then you have to go over the whole procedure again.

Ok, I got it. Well, just to elaborate on this. The battery failed after an abrupt power failure.
