configdownload on HPE SAN Switch (Accessgateway)

Hello There, 

i have some trouble to restore the configuration of an swtich with configdownload.. 

i created a backup-file with configupload -all on the old Accessgateway and replaced the accessgateway with new (same modell) after startup i tried to "configdownload -all" .. but i get the error message

 Process function of configdownload failed for filter "aaaconf" 

does someone know what i need to do to fix this issue...

Hi,

Before applying the saved configuration, disable the switch using switchdisable command.
After applying the configuration, switch reboots and configuration gets applied. Then you can go ahead and enable the switch using command switchenable.
If the issue remains the same, make sure that the firmware on the defective switch and new switch are same. If it is not the same version, the main FOS should be same ( subpatches may differ).
