also thats why something outside of EVA could be checked e.g.:
a) host HBA bios/firmware/driver/multipath compatibility with the current EVA controller firmware

b) fabric utilisation (check mainly if the whole communication is not routed only via one fabric - the same primary path majority of hosts)
etc...

We changed our single disk group of 56 disks to two disk groups of 16 disks and 40 disks in October 2008. We did not change any other configurations related to the EVA since May 2008 when we had only 20 disks. Why did we have good performance between May and October and performance after October on our 40 disk group was similar to that when we had one 20 disk group?
