Akif,
From my experience with eva shutdown, i never had any data loss or any other impact. So i dont think backup is mandatory.

Hi Patrick,
This is my first downtime for EVA after two years continuous online thats what iam bit worried, I hope it may not happened anything wrong, For safety to over come if it happened i wanted to know.
Iam thankful to all who contributed with their expert knowledge.
Next week when i finished this shutdown/startup i do feedback you about my work status.
Once again i appreciate for your kind help.
