Solution
Hi,
the general doc is the following:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01492137/c01492137.pdf
here are some usefull threads:
http://forums12.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?prodSeriesId=3664583&prodTypeId=12169&threadId=1185274&admit=109447627+1222591201153+28353475

Notes:
from the HW point of view, you should
a)add the loop switches into the EVA backend
b)replace the IO modules in the original disk enclosures
c)replace the controllers
etc..
from the SW point of view, the operation should be done offline
OR
maybe you have 2 EVAs - one is 4000 and one is 8100, then you can use LVM (mirroring) to migrate the whole VDISKs into the new EVA...
Here is the HP technical documentation page with all HP-UX versions
http://docs.hp.com/en/index.html, so choose yours and find the related limitations/rules for the SG migration possibilities:

Re: EVA Upgrade
Then it could be a pure LVM task:
