HP StorageWorks 4/8 SAN Switch
I am trying to login to an HP StorageWorks 4/8 SAN Switch using the serial port. The person that installed the switch said that he did not change the default password. However, I cannot login with the username: admin and the password: password which I thought was supposed to be the default username/password? It tells me incorrect login. Does this mean incorrect username or incorrect password? Does anybody know what the default username and password should be on this particular switch?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: HP StorageWorks 4/8 SAN Switch
Hi,
The default username/password is admin/password
If that fails then you could try root/password
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob

Re: HP StorageWorks 4/8 SAN Switch
You are trying with the correct account, admin/password. If you cannot login, then someone changed the default password.
As said above, you could try with root also.
