SSP CLI on RHEL4 (newbie Q)

Hi - I have a RHEL4 server using an Emulex HBA and is connected to a MSA1000. I was able to create an array (and LDs) using the cable connected to the MSA controller. From what I understand, I can do the same using the ACU CLI (using SSP). However, when running hpacucli and listing all the controllers on the RHEL box, I only see a 5i controller. However, I can run the Emulex utils and see the HBA. Being a Linux newbie, I am missing something obvious.
Any help is appreciated.

Do you really want to manage all via CLI? Don't you prefer to install Array Configuration Utility?
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Thanks for your reply. I cannot use the ACU GUI because as far as I can tell, the RHEL install does not have any desktop managers installed. I am not in a position to install GNOME or KDE.
