Oneview and oneview for vcenter release not synced

I'm new to HPE oneview for vmware vcenter and we are about to implement it. But i'm confused by the not syncronised releases of Oneview and Oneview for vmware vcenter. the 26 of april a new version of HPE oneview for vmware vcenter was released (11.6) and days later (30 April) a new version of HPE oneview is released and according to the HPE oneview partner integration- productlifecycle page the lastest version of Oneview is not listed as "supported" with the lastest version of OV4VC released just days apart.

It was the same when 11.5 and 8.8 was released. The partner integration page was only updated when the release of 11.6 happend to support OV 8.8 with OV4VC 11.5 or 11.6.

Is there a strategy behind this or is it just an oversight and non-communications between the teams responsible? Can i safely use 11.6 and 8.9 together in an production environment?
