Re: IMC- backup checkpoint fw
Hello,
I had a look at the CheckPoint GaiaOS Backup process, and it looks like it archives a tgz file, which includes more than just some text-based configuration file: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk108902#System%20Backup%20(and%20System%20Restore)
IMC configuration backups require text-based configuration files, and if your CheckPoint device has a similar backup procedure to the one I linked, I do not think it will not be possible. Additionally it looks like the backup must be triggered on the GUI, while IMC can only do CLI-based procedures. I suspect those are the reasons the adapters don't exist already, at least to my knowledge.
