Continous Access on Eva gives error of Port Offline

Have a SAN  with Continous Access set up between two sites .

Successfully set up a DR group with 4 VDisks total 1TB .

One vdisk copied successfully then got an error at 27% of the remaining copy. "port offline / path not available"

Checked everything on the network and everything is fine .( EVA Controllers, replication ports onSAN switches , FCIP Gateway link)

Did a suspend resume and the replication error is still visible .

how do i get the replication restarted?

Hi,

You could try to Change Controller ownership for one of the member vdisk to the other controller and back to the original controller from source EVA. Replication should resume.

For instance, If  the managing controller vdisk is Controller B at present, change it to Controller A by setting the path preference "path A failover" and then back to Controller B "path B failover"

I work for HP.
