Query: MSA 2062 / Attached Hosts / LUN Ports

Hello,

I have a MSA 2062 in operation. Can someone please explain to me what the ports in the following picture are about?

Currently, a Hyper V server is connected to the MSA which accesses a total of 5 volumes. The host is connected to port A1 and B1.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately, I did not find what I was looking for in the two documents.

I guess the ports regulate which Hyper V Server can access the volume?

Hi, MSA 2060 controller has 4 host ports. I believe that this is either FC or iscsi model. By default, when you map/attach a volume its mapped through all 4 host ports of a controller.

Hi, If you connect a different host server to A2 B2 ports, the new host server will be able to access volumes only if the volume is presented to new host server in SMU.
