MSA60 Enclosure

I am looking at installing some new disk in a HP MSA60 enclosure. I see that HP has listed that 2 TB is the max size for drives, however I was wondering if anyone has tried 4 TB SAS or SATA drives with this enclosure. I would be using a P800 controller as well.

Any ideas if this will work?

Thanks

Re: MSA60 Enclosure

I am not sure that it would be the MSA with the trouble, but rather the P800 controller.

See this thread for info, but 2TB looks to be max for that controller:

You would need the P812 controller.
