QLogic HBA (AJ764A) does not recognise SFP (AJ718A)

Hi there,

we have installed new servers (DL380 G7) with QLogic HBAs (AJ764A).

But when we take a look into the SANsurfer-tools from QLogic all the servers tell us SPF not installed. For testing proposes we installed a SFP from our Brocade-SAN-switch -> that worked fine.

 

Do we have to activate the SFP? We received an license document along to the server, but we do not get any keys for the HBA...

 

Please help us to get this thing running :)
