Can't get Hot Swapable drive out of the LC2000 cage

Dear Sir,

I am trying to add another drive to an existing LC2000 server. I already took the Bezel off but neither the drive nor the empty spaces will come out more that a 1/4 "". ?

Any Advice ?

Hi,

The scsi cage is probably locked.Look at the rear of the server if there are any keys attached to the server.The keys are standard so if they are gone maybe you have another netserver with the key attached and that will also work in this server.Otherwise you need to contact HP and see if they have a spare key to send you.

and you can call parts direct @ 1-800-227-8164 to buy the key, It is less than 5 Dollars I guess.
