Netserver E800 unable to boot from cdrom or floppy

Hi, I'm unable to make the server boot from cdrom even if the BIOS parameters are all ok.
I remember that I did it holding down a key on the keyboard before turning on the server but now I tried so long without success.
How can I do?
Thank You

Re: Netserver E800 unable to boot from cdrom or floppy

Hi Ivan,

Try this: at POST when it says "Press F2 to enter setup", press instead.
When the CMOS configuration screen loads, go to the "Exit" page and choose "Clear System Configuration and Exit Setup".
The server will reboot.
This time go into when it asks and load setup defaults by pressing
Exit saving changes and try to boot to your CD or Floppy.

Another thing you can check in the CMOS is that the CD-ROM drive is not set to Auto-Detect. It should be manually set to CDROM. You can find this on the Configuration page under "> IDE Devices"

Give that a try and let us know how it goes,

I solved this problem disabling all the devices except "Start from Cdrom" in Hardware security tab!
Thanks to all!
