Netserver LC3 & Windows 2000

I have several Hp Netserver Lc3 6/400's with NT4 and wanted to know whether these will run Windows 2000 server ?
Disk sizes seem to vary anywhere between 2,4,9 & 18gb.
Thanks

Re: Netserver LC3 & Windows 2000

Hi Leon,

no problem, those are even officially supported to run W2K.

Here are all the drivers and BIOS/FW files to download for the LC- series:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?locale=en_US&pnameOID=15542&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=50440тМй=en&cc=us

All the specific drivers for the eventual options that are installed like i.e. a Netraid card, you can find by searching for a W2K driver for that particular card starting from the hp.com website via "Support and Drivers"

Hard disk size does not play a role really, it is up to you to size this server for what it is needed for you to store on it (amount of data).

THat's right. Windows 2000 Server is support with all the drivers need. HP started recommending you replace all your 2,4, amd 9GB disks with 18GB's, We even have 36GB drives for the LC3 if you need more space.
